Latest News

Due to a law passed in our last legislative session (Act 503 of 2025), there will no longer be school board elections in odd numbered years. Any board member whose original term expired in 2025, 2026, or 2027 must run in the March 2026 election. That means that all board positions in the Harmony Grove School district are up for election in March 2026. After the March 2026 election all board members will draw lots to see who has to run in 2028, 2030 and 2032; this is to stagger the elections so that 2 positions will be elected in 2028, 2 positions in 2030, then 3 positions in 2032.

Signature petitions can be turned in at the courthouse between noon on Nov. 3 and noon on Nov. 12. The petitions can be picked up at the Ouachita County Courthouse or Dallas County Courthouse.
